Many software and tools created at the University of Washington are available through our Express Licensing Program. These agreements have standard terms and conditions that allow for rapid licensing by companies or individuals.
The conditions and financial terms of Express Licenses apply only to those who download the Express License for that title, sign it “as is” and return it to UW Center for Commercialization. Other licensing arrangements may be available.

BiblioSpec is a set of annotated mass spectra libraries and a software program for compiling and searching mass spectra libraries.

Blast2tree 1.0 assists in the identification of DNA sequences from microorganisms by sending automated queries to the NCBI BLAST and GenBank databases.
In response to a sequence query, the BLAST server returns a set of similar sequences; additional information, including sequence origin and bibliographic information is retrieved from GenBank. Results from both queries are aggregated and stored for subsequent analysis. The user can then select a subset of sequences to display

Anxiety and mood disorders are the
most common psychiatric disorders in adults. A large percentage of people have
both an anxiety disorder and depression. These disorders cause significant
impairment in academic, social and work functioning. A new treatment approach,
CALM Tools for Living, has been proven to be effective in decreasing anxiety
and depression. This is an exciting new intervention because it incorporates a
computer interface as well as counselor interaction.

Extraction of Differential Gene Expression (EDGE) is a software package for the statistical analysis of DNA microarray experiments.
